Yeon-seo, please just retire.
[Male Actor] Yeon-seo, ugh. What on earth gives you the confidence to be an actor? Is it your face? Is it your face? +472
You can’t bash Yoo Yeon-seo for his looks and physique. Conversely, there are a hell of a lot of things to bash him for besides his appearance. Oh, wait, you can’t bash his family background either. Anyway.
I just watched Our Moments and got so pissed off that I’m going to talk about Yoo Yeon-seo. If it weren’t for him, Our Moments would have been much better, but thankfully, the writer switched the love-line to the second male lead at the last minute and put it on a life support machine.
He’s a lead, not a supporting actor, but he’s terrible at acting, so much so that the writer had to switch the love-line to the second male lead, essentially making the sub-lead the main lead. And why are industry insiders so eager to give work to Yoo Yeon-seo, who can’t act, especially in lead roles?
First off, Yoo Yeon-seo’s agency, Halo Media, is a production company and actor agency with a pretty good batting average (a high success rate), even if its size is a bit small. They’ve only gathered the best actors, like Lim Hye-seo, who just won a rookie award, and Kim Min-seong. They’re good at slipping their actors in and their produced works are good, too.
So, did Yoo Yeon-seo, who is atrociously bad at acting, get slipped in (due to his agency’s influence/power) ? The answer is no.
Combining the CEO’s interview and industry rumors, it seems Yoo Yeon-seo isn’t getting a push from his agency. No, actually, it’s more accurate to say he isn’t accepting a push.
Then, what on earth is the reason?
Surprisingly, Yoo Yeon-seo is emerging as the hope for rookie writers, directors, and actors. Why? Because the moment he’s cast as the lead, investments from Ju-seong Group affiliates and countless sponsorship requests come pouring in. Scheduling? It gets approved via fast-pass naturally.
So, writers, directors, and actors whose projects are not guaranteed to be made because they can’t get production company support, and who desperately want their work to see the light of day, are reluctantly (울며 겨자 먹기로 – ulmye gyeoja meokgiro, lit. crying while eating mustard) calling Yoo Yeon-seo’s number. What’s annoying is that Yoo Yeon-seo has excellent taste in projects, so every project he enters achieves decent artistic quality and above-average ratings/box-office success. With that acting? Yes, with that acting, lol.
As long as Ju-seong Group doesn’t fail, Yoo Yeon-seo’s acting career will continue. And since South Korea would fail if the Ju-seong Group failed, that won’t happen.
Unless Yoo Yeon-seo suddenly goes crazy, retires, and takes over a suitable Ju-seong Group affiliate to manage, he will continue acting and will not retire. It’s a truly frustrating situation.
+) This post will probably be taken down anyway because a flurry of ‘love letters’ (threats/attacks from his fans) is coming, so I’ll detonate the post in 10 minutes. Even I’m scared of Yoo Yeon-seo’s fans, lol.
Yeon-seo, let’s retire.
2222 Yeon-seo, please just retire.
My friend was an insider on Our Moments, and they said Yeon-seo was terribly mean after the writer switched the love-line to the second male lead, without thinking about his own bad acting, lol.
Yoo Yeon-seo’s estimated fortune is in the trillions (of won), right?
Really?
Holy sh*t (ㅅㅂ – shibal), I’m jealous.
Every single sentence is a masterpiece, why the warning about deletion?
Yoo Yeon-seo’s fandom is famously vicious. Harabi (하라비) is even scared enough to cower.
It’s strange how many fans he has when he’s so bad at his main job, lol.
His face is a cheat code.
But looking at the comments above, his wealth is astronomical, so why does he keep raising his appearance fee, to the point that the production team had to publish a sniper article (저격기사 – jeogyeok-gisa, an article meant to criticize/attack) telling him to reduce it? They were really dangling a carrot in front of him.
I heard he’s extremely greedy for money.
His fortune is in the trillions, holy sh*t (ㅅㅂ), he has no shame.
Since he can’t raise his status with acting, he must be trying to raise it with his appearance fee, lol.
Can’t he just become an investor with his good eye for projects?
For real.
Harabi is right. Why don’t they use an idol instead? They say idol-turned-actors get good reactions on set these days, they have solid fandoms, and their price is low.
Living Point: Yoo Yeon-seo is idol-turned-actor.
He’s a deserter, holy sh*t. Let’s not count deserters (둘기 – dulgi, pigeon, slang for idol who leaves their group) as idol-turned-actors.
This post is about to be flooded with love letters.
What, is this a Yoo Yeon-seo bashing party? Let me join in, holy sh*t (ㅅㅂ). I still can’t forget how he insulted my actor, calling him a pauper.
How did Our Moments end? I dropped it because of Yoo Yeon-seo.
The writer switched the love-line to the second male lead. Both the love line and the narrative were dumped entirely on Go Hyun-tae.
Holy sh*t, I’m going to go watch it (달린다 – dalinda, lit. run/start watching).
OMG, but Yoo Yeon-seo is now—
Huh?
OMG, sh*t (ㅅㅂ)
[The Story Begins]
“What’s with these comments?”
Han Jun-ho, the CEO of Halo Media, the agency of Yoo Yeon-seo mentioned in the post, frowned as he looked at the ominously cut-off comments.
“What are you looking at, CEO?”
“Park Manager. Just looking at a Harabi blog post.”
“Ah, that person… the bashing celebrity for Yoo Yeon-seo?”
“…Doesn’t he bash every celebrity, though?”
“He bashes Yoo Yeon-seo in a league of his own.”
The man called Park Manager walked up next to the CEO and looked at the monitor. The state of the comments was a sight to behold. He thought that if he were Yoo Yeon-seo, his mental state wouldn’t just be crumbled, it would be entirely obliterated.
However, their arrogant (콧대 높은 – kotdae nopeun, lit. high nose bridge) Yoo Yeon-seo probably wouldn’t get a single scratch from something like this.
“Why are you looking at something like this, CEO?”
“Just in case.”
“Are you going to take a screenshot again? There’s no helping that person. He deserves the criticism.”
“Park Sang-tae. Is that how you speak about an actor from our agency?”
“It’s true, though.”
Park Manager replied sulkingly. He hated Yoo Yeon-seo because of his rudeness (싸가지 없는 성격 – ssagaji eomneun seonggyeok, lit. no manners personality).
“Wow… but the comments are harsh. Is Yoo Yeon-seo not going to sue?”
“He said he wouldn’t. Did he say he didn’t need to care about the vulgar things people say?”
“The Ju-seong side doesn’t seem to have any intention of responding either… That’s weird.”
Isn’t he the second grandson they coddle so much? Manager Park Sang-tae, who had witnessed the miracle of production costs being slammed down in cash the moment Yoo Yeon-seo signed the contract, mumbled in confusion.
“How would we know the thoughts of those noble chaebol (wealthy conglomerate) families?”
Despite his words, CEO Han Jun-ho was quite fond of Yoo Yeon-seo.
Any project that Yoo Yeon-seo, with his good eye for work, showed interest in, was at least a moderate success. The projects he unfortunately had to turn down due to scheduling, if given to another actor in the company or produced by them, would become a huge hit (대박 – daebak).
Moreover, Yoo Yeon-seo’s work would come in on its own thanks to his family background, even without the agency pushing him. Han Jun-ho thought he had stumbled upon a great fortune (호박이 넝쿨 째 들어온 – hobak-i neongkul jjae deureo-on, lit. a pumpkin coming in with the whole vine), but this wasn’t a pumpkin—it was a tiger cub.
Yoo Yeon-seo had a peculiar contract condition, only entrusting the hiring of staff, such as his manager, and requesting not to be fussed over. He would talk back if things went wrong and often treated the CEO like his manager.
If he does this to his own agency CEO, he must do it to the industry as well. Yoo Yeon-seo’s rude speech and behavior caused all sorts of controversies. Naturally, his industry reputation was near rock bottom.
“Is Yeon-seo alright?”
“Jong-ho is on his way to drive him home after his schedule.”
“Jong-ho? Ah, the newly hired manager… How long has he been with us now?”
“A little over two months.”
“He’s lasting a bit longer this time. Can he endure Yoo Yeon-seo’s temper?”
“From what I can tell, he won’t last long.”
Park Manager sighed. Road managers had consecutively quit because they couldn’t endure Yoo Yeon-seo’s temper, and Park Manager had to take on the road duties until a new manager was hired. It had been ages since he had to do road managing…
“Yes, this is Park Sang-tae, Manager at Halo Media.”
Just as Park Manager was about to hang up a call from a news reporter, his eyes widened like lanterns, as if he had heard shocking news.
“…Pardon?”
“What is it?”
Park Manager ignored the CEO and picked up the remote to turn on the TV.
[Breaking News] 5-car pile-up on Gangnam-daero… Victim confirmed as 3rd generation of Ju-seong Group
…The driver died instantly at the scene, and the passenger was confirmed to be Mr. Yoo Yeon-seo (26), the 3rd generation of Ju-seong Group and an actor.
CEO Han Jun-ho, who had rushed to the hospital where Yoo Yeon-seo was transferred, was blocked by men in black suits in front of the operating room.
“Excuse me, who are you to block my way?”
One man offered a business card: Ju-seong Group Strategic Planning Division. The CEO, who was about to raise his voice, calmed down.
“I am his agency CEO, can’t I even wait in front of the operating room?”
“No, you can’t.”
“I’m practically his guardian, why are you stopping me from going in?”
“That’s exactly why we’re telling you. His real guardian is on the way.”
CEO Han paused. His real guardian? Was he referring to Vice Chairman Yoo Geon-min, his father? Reading his expression with keen eyes, the man spoke quietly.
“Since the Chairman (회장님 – hoe-jang-nim) is on his way, the CEO should go handle the press.”
“Th-The Chairman?”
CEO Han stammered in surprise. Park Sang-tae, who had followed the CEO, was also shocked and opened his mouth. The Chairman Yoo of the Ju-seong Group, a major corporation that supports South Korea and proudly ranks high in the global corporate rankings, is personally coming?
“Chairman Yoo Chang-ho is coming himself?”
“Yes.”
The person who seemed to be the leader of the men in suits guided Han Jun-ho and Park Sang-tae towards the entrance, telling them to leave before the Chairman arrived.
“You know that the Chairman is not very fond of the Young Master’s life in the entertainment industry. It would be best not to run into him.”
Both the CEO and Park Manager were well aware of this, and the rumor was widely known in the industry.
‘Yoo Yeon-seo said Chairman Yoo didn’t care about him.’
He remembered Yoo Yeon-seo, drunk, lamenting that he had been abandoned when he chose the path of a celebrity. That no one cared what he did, whether he was sick or dead.
Well, it would be strange for a family not to show up for an accident serious enough to instantly kill a person. The CEO took the lead and stepped outside. Reporters, who had heard the news, recognized the CEO and were taking photos.
“What should we do about the press?”
“For now, say we’re checking on it. Tell them to refrain from speculation. If that doesn’t work, tell them the Ju-seong Group will get involved. I think they’re serious this time.”
“Understood.”
What a sudden disaster. He couldn’t forget the graphic bloodstains when he saw the scene photos on social media.
He’ll be fine. He’s the 3rd generation of the Ju-seong Group, and with the Chairman arriving, the best doctors in South Korea will perform the surgery. The CEO sighed deeply.
The CEO and Park Manager, with dark expressions, bowed their heads towards the reporters gathered in front of the hospital, warning them to behave by mentioning the Ju-seong Group. At least Yoo Yeon-seo was still alive; the manager died instantly at the scene.
“…Where are the bereaved family?”
“They’re on their way now.”
“Haa… What a terrible thing to happen…”
A young man with a bright future had his life cut short. The CEO planned to pay a consolation fee out of his own pocket.

“Hough…!”
Kang Jin-hoo, now the man who woke up as Yoo Yeon-seo, gasped heavily. After steadying his breath for a moment, he examined his body. Dressed in white patient clothes, his right hand was covered by a cast, but two warm hands—not mechanical arms—were welcoming him.
Yoo Yeon-seo looked at his unfamiliar hands and then turned his head at the commotion outside.
“That brat woke up?”
The door slid open, and someone walked in. The old man, whose hair was thinning, had a wrinkled face but looked magnificent in his physique and aura despite his age.
The old man looked at Yoo Yeon-seo’s face and made a complicated expression. But only for a moment, then the old man shouted fiercely.
“Did I tell you to behave properly or not?!”
